The interest and increase
in the Four Wheel Drive vehicle and ownership
market for the
purposes of Eco-adventure tourism has started this service in 1993.
Geared essentially for the
4x4 owner, Taggallongg, a division of Big Red Four Off-road Services cc,
offers guided four-
wheel drive outings on trails usually not available to or less frequently
used by the general
public.
These Taggallongg outings will enable
participants to use their vehicles on off-road
trails whilst
enjoying their favourite pastimes such as off-road driving, nature
appreciation, photography, bird and
game watching, hiking and mountain biking. At the same time competence is
gained in the use of
camping equipment and vehicle accessories.
Taggallongg also undertakes adventure trips to cross border countries for
periods from 4 days to 3
weeks duration. Again, once 4-wheel driving experience has been gained an
entire new world of
off-road travel is opened up to 4-wheel drivers and eco-tourists. With
guide experience available the
fear of unscheduled breakdowns is eliminated as help is at hand. On offer
are also purpose designed
trips to accommodate team building and corporate outings and we would be
